GENERAL TERMS OF USE - OLA BOX
1. Prohibited Items
For security and regulatory reasons, it is strictly prohibited to ship flammable, corrosive, or explosive
items, weapons, ammunition, products with alcohol as the main ingredient, gas items, dangerous
batteries, fireworks, perishables, psychotropic substances, used clothing or shoes, legal documents,
cash, credit/debit cards, and more. Full list available at the service desk.
2. Items Requiring Import Permit
Some products require an import permit from government entities (Ministry of Health, Environment
Ministry, Customs). Ola Box does not handle permits. These include:
- Personal care and beauty products
- Medications and supplements
- Medical equipment
- Aerosols, perfumes, creams
- Tobacco, e-cigarettes
- Air conditioners, refrigerators, shock absorbers
3. Special Handling Products
These products are also restricted by local customs and require additional permits. They travel
consolidated once per week depending on airline availability. Includes but is not limited to (these
products will be billed under the 'libra de salud' category):
- Deodorants
- Nail polish
- Beauty powders
- Aerosol containers
- Beauty products
- Oil candles
- Creams
- Perfumes
- Gels
- Sunscreens
- Non-corrosive cleaning solutions
- Sweeteners, flavorings or food colorings
- Mouthwash
- Shock absorbers
- Hoverboards (electric scooters)
4. Return Policy
- Product must be unused and in original packaging.
- Returns must follow seller's policies (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).
- OlaBox assists with shipping but does not guarantee acceptance.
- All return costs are the customer's responsibility.
5. Storage Policy
- First 60 days: free storage.
- Day 61 to 90: $1 per day per package.
- After 90 days: OlaBox may dispose of the package without compensation.
- Reminders will be sent before charges are applied.
